Citizenship Fair!

Jafri Law Firm has been hard at work for the past couple months!

One of the major cornerstones of this practice is to give back to the community.  We believe in promoting easy access to legal information and quality legal services. We believe in providing pro bono and reduced cost services to those in need. We believe in helping immigrants to learn all they can and help them to help themselves.

To that end, Jafri Law Firm contacted numerous local organizations to organize a Citizenship Fair in Orange County, CA. In conjunction with the Islamic Institute of Orange County, OCCORD, Muslim American Society, Council on American Islamic Relations, Access California Services, and several local immigration attorneys, we have created an outlet to reach out to the local immigrant community by providing them valuable information on the naturalization process.

At the event, attendees will be given a detailed presentation on how to become a U.S. citizen. Attendees will also be given the opportunity to engage a USCIS representative in a Question and Answer session, as well as to participate in a mock citizenship interview. Those who have registered for the event will also be given the opportunity to have our trained volunteers personally screen and assist them with their naturalization applications. Qualified and experienced immigration attorneys will be present to provide quality control and review applications. Attendees will also be given valuable information packets and guides detailing where to go from here. They will also learn about several opportunities available to U.S. Citizens, including the right to vote and other kinds of civic engagement activities.
